And this morning we woke up really early to catch a bus to Karlovy Vary for the film festival. Meanwhile, we have been told that people start lining up for tickets at 2am to see the films...and our bus wasn't getting into town until 12:20 in the afternoon. So do the math: we just assumed it would be really difficult to get in to a show. Another thing to take note of, barely anyone at the festival spoke English. And when I say that I mean they don't understand common words like "bus" or "shuttle". So the first few hours we were there were pretty frustrating. The setup of the festival was kind of confusing, but we learned pretty quickly that if you stand in line at the box office 10 minutes before a film, they sometimes have extra tickets, so we started standing in line an hour a head of time...and got tickets!!! We ended up seeing a Czech film called You Kiss Like God. It was pretty cute! It was a comedy. Everyone clapped at the end like it was a press junket. And we got really cool film pass badges to wear! So the day ended up being amazing! And before our bus came to go home, we stopped by a market stand and I got fresh raspberries and black cherries. Yum!! The day was awesome- blue skies and guess who is receiving an award from the festival committee? John Malkovich!!! (This is a cue for Maggie and Cara :) )

More Adventures!
The past few days have been so much fun! Last night we decided to go out to eat and relax since we didn't have anything to rush off to (like class or city tours) so I finally tried roasted duck! And it's really really good! I was very excited. We also split a bottle of wine between the three of us and I got a really great piece of chocolate cake. That was a good night :)
