Now that's what I call service...

I just got back from eating with my roommate at a restaurant in the old part of downtown Prague. The restaurant was called Apropos and it was delicious! I got potato soup in a bread bowl, the soup being something they are known for here and it was delicious! And when we left they gave us each a rose and a shot of pineapple juice and vodka. I don't think I'm coming home.....

A few exciting things coming up! This coming weekend we have free so a bunch of the girls I am friends with and I are going to a music festival in Czech Republic to see....Gogol Bordello!!! If you're not familar with them, it's a shame. Think indie gyspy punk rock with accordion music.
And also one of my favorite artists Jan Svankmajer? Lives a few blocks over from my dorm! Get out of here!!! And he has a gallery? Ahhhhhhh

Anyway- we went to Moravia this past weekend. It was really fun in Brno, a lot more laid back than Prague, but I missed my Praha :) We saw tons and tons of churches and cathedrals and I got to try Czech beer (Starobrno) which was very good. We also went wine tasting and went to some caves located under the city. The most interesting part for me was when we went to some local villages that were homes to people until Nazis invaded in WWII but some of the houses were still intact, including bedding, wall decorations, and furniture.
